March Madness bracketology: Where ESPN, CBS have Clemson basketball after regular season
The Clemson Tigers did their best to move up the seed line in the latest NCAA Tournament projections after closing out the regular season with a dominant 65-47 win over Virginia Tech on Saturday night.
For the Tigers (26-5 overall, 18-2 ACC), it was their eighth consecutive win to close out the regular season. Six of those wins were by double digits.
The Tigers head into this week's ACC Tournament as the No. 3 seed and will play in the quarterfinal round on Thursday night at 9:30 p.m. ET. In the meantime, both ESPN's Joe Lunardi and CBS Sports' Jerry Palm have Clemson rising up the seed line in their latest March Madness predictions.
Lunardi moved the Tigers up one spot to a No. 4 seed in his latest bracketology projections and predicts that Clemson will face the No. 13 seed Lipscomb Bisons in the South Region. The Auburn Tigers are the No. 1 overall seed in the South Region. Lipscomb earned an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament on Sunday by winning the Atlantic Sun Conference tournament championship.

Clemson basketball schedule 2025-26: Non-conference games revealed, including BYU, Alabama
CLEMSON — Clemson basketball revealed its full non-conference schedule for the 2025-26 season on Aug. 21.
The Tigers will face Presbyterian on Oct. 17 in an exhibition game at Littlejohn Coliseum before starting their season vs. New Hampshire on Nov. 3. Clemson will face New Hampshire, Gardner-Webb, Morehead State, North Alabama, Alabama A&M, Mercer and South Carolina at home.
On the road, Clemson will play Georgetown on Nov. 15 and Alabama on Dec. 3 in the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Tigers' game against Georgetown will serve as the start of a home-and-home series with the Hoyas, and the return date to Clemson will be next season.
Clemson's neutral-site matchups include games against West Virginia and Georgia/Xavier in the Charleston Classic in Charleston, South Carolina. The Tigers will face BYU in the Jimmy V Classic in New York and Cincinnati in the Greenville Winter Invitational in Greenville, South Carolina.

It's on to the ACC Tournament for the Clemson Tigers.
Clemson (26-5 overall, 18-2 ACC) finished off the regular season with a 65-47 blowout win over Virginia Tech Saturday night at Littlejohn Coliseum. Viktor Lakhin had with 16 points and seven rebounds, and Jaeden Zackery added 11 points to go with four assists and four steals.
The Tigers never trailed en route to their eighth straight win and program-record 26th regular-season victory. They capped their record for ACC victories in a single regular season at 18.
The ACC Tournament will begin Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET at Spectrum Center in Charlotte when the No. 12 seed Notre Dame Fighting Irish face the No. 13 seed Pitt Panthers.
As for Brad Brownell's team, Clemson is the No. 3 seed in the tournament after finishing in a second-place tie with the Louisville Cardinals. Louisville defeated the Tigers, 74-64, in the head-to-head meeting between both teams on Jan. 7, giving the Cardinals the head-to-head tiebreaker and No. 2 seed. Duke beat North Carolina Saturday night in Chapel Hill to win the regular-season title and earn the No. 1 seed in
