Wickenburg’s beloved Gold Rush Days & Artisans’ Fair is returning to the historic downtown for three incredible days of fun, creativity, and community. This year marks the 76th anniversary of this treasured winter event, honoring Wickenburg’s rich history as a ranching and gold mining hub.

Recognized by the Library of Congress as one of America’s Living Legacies, Gold Rush Days continues to attract tens of thousands of visitors eager to experience the charm, culture, and artistry of this unique celebration.

Artisans’ Fair Highlights:
This year’s Artisans’ Fair promises to be the best yet, featuring over 150 juried artists showcasing original, finely crafted works. From stunning jewelry and intricate woodwork to breathtaking paintings and textiles, you’ll find art and gifts that are as unique as they are beautiful.     Wickenburg, Arizona, is a desert paradise for horse lovers. Founded in 1863 by ranching and mining pioneers, Arizona’s Most Western Community is located in the central part of the state, offering a mild climate ideal for horsemen seeking a welcoming community for the winter.

    Surrounded by the high Sonoran desert and mountains and nestled into the Hassayampa Valley, Wickenburg is a beautiful setting for trail riding, team roping, barrel racing, and relaxing. Visitors and locals hike trails lined with wildflowers and cacti, ride horses and then ride in a Jeep to experience natural trails and historic places. You can fish nearby lakes, participate in or watch team roping at local arenas, ride a mountain bike, golf, take a stroll around Wickenburg’s historic downtown, attend annual heritage events, or sit and watch the sunset. The community boasts active horse groups, daily equestrian events in the winter and spring, and many competitions, such as the National Senior Pro Rodeo held during Gold Rush Days.

    Gold Rush Days features a family-fun carnival, senior pro rodeo, artisans' fair, parade, classic car show, gold panning, and much more.

    This event celebrates Wickenburg’s origins as a ranching & gold mining center in the days before Phoenix was established. The heritage event was founded 76 years ago, and today Gold Rush Days draws thousands of visitors during the three-and-a-half days of activities. Gold Rush Days most significant recognition is from the Library ofCongress, “whereas Gold Rush Days is one of America’s Local Legacies.” TheWickenburg Chamber of Commerce is the proud producer of the celebration each year, along with partners and sponsors.
